Hey friend! I’m an experienced bridal tailor providing bridal and special occasion gown tailoring at the highest level.

I believe gowns should be altered to the body, and not the other way around. I honed my craft interning for British Luxury Fashion House Erdem, including sewing runway samples, and have experience in high-end retail, working for brands such as Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale’s.

I offer bridal and special occasion gown tailoring only. This includes tailoring specialty lace, beading, and embroidery- dresses that require a specialized touch.

  • I alter bridal and special occasion gowns only. However, I can always offer a recommendation for a tailor for all other inquiries.

    Fittings are generally available Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays, however I can work with your preferred schedule.

  • Clients have their own private bathroom/dressing room, for maximum comfort. I want my clients to feel comfortable and at home at all times.

alteration faqs

  • WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES FOR ALTERATIONS?

    Alteration pricing depends on the scope of the work & how the garment is constructed, including how it is finished, etc.

    I recommend scheduling a complimentary fitting so I can create a proposal. Fittings are always free, and you can always ask for a second opinion from another specialist.

    I work out of my home to keep my bridal prices competitive, and to spend more time with my three daughters.

  • When will I receive back my alteration?

    For bridal, turn around is generally 2-4 months and generally 2-4 fittings, depending on the amount of work needed and accessories wanted, such as veils and sleeves. For simpler bridal alterations I have been able to finish them in as little as 2-3 weeks.

    For special occasion gowns- including studded, beaded, embroidered and lace gowns- I recommend altering garments that fit 80% well, and need about 20% altered. Special occasion gowns usually require 2-3 months, depending on the amount of work needed.

  • What alterations do you offer?

    I alter bridal & special occasion gowns only. As a dressmaker, I’m able to create or add unique details and love to modernize and refurbish vintage wedding dresses.

    At this time, I don’t offer general alterations or hemming of bridesmaid gowns. I recommend reaching out to Needle and Thread Alterations on Google.

  • Is your Work Guaranteed?

    Yes, my work is guaranteed. I want all of my clients to be incredibly happy with the work performed. During the final fitting I’ll ensure your alteration is just right. If it is not to your liking as discussed during your initial fitting, please let me know immediately and I will do everything in my power to fix any issues, at no extra charge.
