    Production and Manufacturing Advice

    I’m an independent freelancer who cares about the brands I work for as if they’re my own. Whether your manufacturer has a last minute question, or you are looking for the best finishes for your product’s targeted price range, I’ll be by your side every step of the way.

  • 1. virtual coffee date

    Let’s talk the clothing of your dreams! Clients will start with a sketch, tech drawing and/or mood board of their unique styles. I’ll ask technical questions and offer advice on the best finishes for manufacturing.

  • 2. Welcome, Friend!

    You’ll receive an estimate of your signature styles. Your estimate will outline a timeline, price range and breakdown of how long each style will take. Once accepted, you’ll receive contracts and a welcome packet. I charge a simple hourly rate and use HoneyBook for an easy, hassle-free way to pay.

  • 3. Toiles & live models

    Depending on the style, I will drape or draft your preliminary patterns in the best sample size possible, according to your size range. Sample patterns will be stitched into a toile (prototype) and fit onto a live model. For clients out of state, I use a photography camera for this live-fitting zoom call, so fit can be assessed by clients in fine detail. Pattern amendments will be made, as necessary, for flawless fit.

  • 4. Grading

    After the base patterns are complete, these patterns will be sent to the grader. I work with highly skilled graders with over 20+ years of experience, so every pattern in your size range fits like a dream.

  • 5. Sampling & Tech Packs

    A sample is made in final fabrication, professionally stitched and ready for your collection photography and production sample. A technical pack is created for worry-free manufacturing.
